Here's a pleasant cocktail recipe for the summer:
Muddle in a pint glass: 2 Large, very fresh strawberries 2 Medium-sized basil leafs 1/2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice 3/4 oz simple syrup (1/2 sugar and 1/2 water chilled)
Then add: 3/4 oz Cointreau (Orange-flavored liqueur similar to triple sec) 2 oz Grey Goose or your favorite vodka
Shake with a passion, then strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a small floating basil leaf, or half a fresh strawberry on the rim.
